My paintings stay faithful to the formal visual elements defined by figurative traditions, my inspiration is drawn from more fanciful and ethereal sources. The bulk of my work explores the ideas of ephemeral truths, the symbolism of wildlife, and élan vital. You will find imaginary landscapes, whimsical dreaminess, and nostalgic undertones in pieces that I hope will bring the viewer a sense of quiet enjoyment.

More recently, I have found inspiration in the fascinating intersections between traditional art and emergent technologies such as the internet. The manner in which these new tools not only affect our daily lives but dramatically alter the manner in which we think, perceive, collaborate, and create has already had an immeasurable impact on our interpretation of aesthetics and our conception of the boundaries of that most elusive of terms: art.
